Putin and Hu Jintao discuss whole range of Russian-Chinese relations

BEIJING, October 12 (Itar-Tass) — Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has proposed to discuss the whole range of Russia-Chinese relations at the meeting with Chinese leader Hu Jintao.

"I am glad to have this opportunity to tell about the results of the current meetings, discuss the whole range of our relations. We very much hope that you will support those plans for the future that the Chinese and Russian governments had drafted," he said on Wednesday.

Putin underlined that the two countries' relations "develop very successfully" and Hu's visit to Russia last June "strengthened these trends."

The head of the Russian government said President Dmitry Medvedev sent warm wishes for his Chinese counterpart.
